What we help with

Areas of care where Indian hospitals treat many patients from abroad.

Treatment costs in India

Accredited hospitals you can choose from

Every one holds NABH or JCI accreditation. Open a hospital to see its doctors, its help for patients from abroad and its prices, where it publishes them.

Compare hospitals and choose yourself

  • Filter by city, treatment, accreditation, and help such as an interpreter or a bed for your attendant.

  • Sort by Newsweek's 2026 ranking, by JCI first, by lowest published price or by name.

  • Check each hospital's NABH or JCI accreditation on the public register.

  • Choose up to 3 hospitals for a free estimate, or let us suggest hospitals for you to approve.

How we earn

Where we have an agreement with a hospital, that hospital pays us a facilitation fee when we coordinate a patient's care. We tell you this openly. No hospital can buy a higher place in our lists, and you may ask any hospital for its direct price.

How we earn, in full

Estimates from up to 3 hospitals

Compare written estimates side by side before you decide. Each hospital's own doctor reviews your reports before the hospital sends its estimate.

  1. Choose up to 3 hospitals

Add them from the list, or let us suggest hospitals for you to approve.

    Day 1

  2. Send your reports

Your coordinator removes your phone number and email, then sends your case to each hospital within 2 working days.

    Within 2 working days

  3. Compare the estimates

Hospitals usually reply within a few days. If one does not reply, we tell you and suggest another.

    Usually a few days

  • Every estimate is free today. Later the first stays free and the 2nd and 3rd carry a small fee.
  • You pay the hospital directly for your treatment.

Your privacy, as it works today

Your reports are about your health and your family. This is how we handle them now, every day.

  • Your phone and email stay with us

Before we share your case, your coordinator removes your phone number and email. Hospitals receive your case through Lazuren, and they reply to us. If you go ahead with a hospital, we give that hospital your details for the visa invitation letter and your admission.

  • Only the hospitals you choose

Your reports go to the hospitals you choose, usually through a link that stops working after a set time. If you ask us to suggest hospitals, we send nothing until you approve them.

  • Stored privately

We keep your enquiry and the reports you send us in private, encrypted storage. Our service providers, such as our file storage, WhatsApp and Telegram, may store or process some of it outside India.

  • Your rights

You can ask what we hold and who received it, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent.

Help for the person who comes with you

Most patients travel with a son or daughter, or a husband or wife. We plan the trip for both of you.

  • A medical attendant visa, linked to the patient's. We arrange the hospital's invitation letter.
  • Usually a place to sleep in the patient's room during the hospital stay.
  • Halal, vegetarian and familiar food near the hospitals.
  • An interpreter for hospital visits, and a coordinator who answers in your language.
  • Help with a local SIM card, money exchange and a place to stay.
  • The cost of the trip for two, shown on the page for your country.

From your country

Flights, visa and a place to stay are on the page for your country.

What we do not do

  • We do not give medical advice.
  • We do not guarantee results.
  • We do not arrange organ donors or surrogacy.
  • We do not collect treatment payments.

For referring doctors and hospitals

Refer a patient and stay informed: you receive the specialist's opinion, the treatment plan, the discharge summary and the follow-up instructions.

Common questions

Do I pay Lazuren anything?

Every estimate is free today. Later the first stays free and the 2nd and 3rd carry a small fee. Where we have an agreement with a hospital, that hospital pays us a facilitation fee. You pay the hospital directly for your treatment, and you may ask the hospital for its direct price.

How do I get a price?

Choose up to 3 hospitals, or let us suggest them, and send your recent reports and scans. Your coordinator sends your case to the hospitals within 2 working days. A doctor at each hospital reviews your reports, and hospitals usually reply with a written estimate within a few days. The site shows indicative prices before that.

Do I need a medical visa?

Yes, for treatment in India you need a medical visa, and your companion needs a medical attendant visa. We arrange the hospital's invitation letter that the application requires. We do not issue visas and cannot guarantee approval.

Can someone travel with me?

Yes. Your attendant can usually apply for a medical attendant visa linked to yours, and can usually stay in your hospital room. The Government of India sets how many attendants are allowed; your coordinator confirms the current rule.

What happens after I go home?

Your coordinator arranges follow-up calls with your doctor and shares reports and the treatment summary for your local doctor. Prescriptions written in India may not be valid in your country, so your local doctor may need to prescribe your medicines.

Is my medical information safe?

We use your reports only to arrange medical opinions, cost estimates and, if you go ahead, your treatment trip. We share them with the accredited hospitals in India that you choose, and with others only if you agree; if you choose none, we suggest hospitals and send them only to those you approve. Apart from that, they are handled only by the service providers that help us run the service, and by authorities where the law requires it. We delete our copy on request, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Will the hospitals get my phone number?

Not from your enquiry. Before we share your case, your coordinator removes your phone number and email. Hospitals receive your case through Lazuren and reply to us. If you choose a hospital for treatment, it needs your details for the visa invitation letter and your admission, and we send them to that hospital only.

Can I choose the hospitals myself?

Yes. Filter and compare accredited hospitals, then add up to 3 to your list. If you are not sure, tell us the problem and we suggest hospitals. We send nothing until you approve them.

Can you put my reports into my language?

Not yet. Today your coordinator explains each hospital's reply to you in your language. We are building translation of reports, so you can read them; the hospital's doctor always reads the original.

Prices
Prices are indicative. The hospital gives a written estimate after its doctor reviews your reports, and confirms the final cost after examining you.
Order
First the hospitals in Newsweek World's Best Hospitals 2026, India, in Newsweek's order. Then every other hospital: JCI first, then NABH, then NABH for small hospitals, A to Z within each. No hospital can pay to move up. A Verified partner gets a badge, never a higher place.
Rankings
Newsweek World's Best Hospitals 2026, India. They are published by Newsweek and Statista, not by Lazuren. Use them with other information.
Beds
Bed numbers are as published by each hospital or on its NABH certificate, and can include beds not yet in use. Where a hospital does not publish one, we show none. Size is not a measure of quality: specialist hospitals for cancer, heart, spine or joints are often smaller.
